Ingredients:

• 1 pound hamburger meat

• 1 teaspoon dried parsley

• 1 packet of French onion soup mix

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 1/2 cup heavy cream

• 2 tablespoons butter, melted

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

• 1/2 cup French fried onions

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the hamburger meat, dried parsley, French onion soup mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and heavy cream. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

3. Form the meat mixture into four equal-sized patties.

4. Arrange the patties in a baking dish and pour the melted butter over each one.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the patties are cooked through.

6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle each patty with shredded mozzarella cheese. Allow the heat from the burgers to melt the cheese.

7. Top with French fried onions and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are crispy and the cheese is bubbly.

8. Let the burgers rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes:

  • For an even more indulgent burger, consider serving these patties on toasted brioche buns with a dollop of creamy garlic aioli.
