Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Delicious stuffed bell peppers filled with ground beef, rice, and cheese.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Rinse the peppers and set them aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil, onion, and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking up the meat into small pieces as it cooks.
  5. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and stir to combine. Let it cook for a few minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated.
  6. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine. Let it cook for another minute.
  7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers, pressing down lightly to fill them to the top.
  9. Place the stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each pepper.
  11. Bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy!
