Mommas Sunday Roast

Author: Ashton Butler A.K.A. JustLikeGranny

Techno this recipe is my great grandmas Sunday roast but I don’t remember her making it. Only that my mom did when she could afford a chuck roast. Every birthday or holiday my momma made us a roast and sometimes when one was in sale she would make one. Many people ask me, “Ashton, what’s your favorite meal?”. Well, it’s my Mommas Sunday Roast with Coleslaw and Sister Shubert Rolls. It just takes me back to when I was little and I’d sit at the kitchen table watching my momma cook and check the oven for several hours while the roast cooked. Priceless memories.
