Good Ole Pecan Pie

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 325F.
  2. Step 2: In a saucepan, add your brown sugar, butter, and syrup. Mix well until the sugar has melted on heat. Once melted, set it aside.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, beat your eggs, salt, and vanilla together.
  4. Step 4: Slowly pour the butter-sugar mixture into the egg mixture and whisk quickly to combine the two.
  5. Step 5: Once mixed, pour into the pie shell and top with pecans.
  6. Step 6: Place it into the oven and bake for 55-60 minutes.
  7. Step 7: The pie will puff up, but don’t worry, it will deflate once fully cooled and ready to serve.
