Ingredients:

[ ] 1 chicken breast, Diced

[ ] 1 small carrot, peeled & sliced diagonally

[ ] 1 head of broccoli, cut into pieces, stalk shaved and sliced

[ ] 1/4 large yellow onion, chopped

[ ] 1 inch of peeled ginger

[ ] 4 scallions

[ ] 4 cloves of garlic

[ ] 1/2 cup soy sauce

[ ] 1/8 cup brown sugar

[ ] 1/8 cup toasted sesame oil

[ ] 1/8 cup Chinese wine

[ ] 3 tbsps hoisin sauce

[ ] 1 tbsp sesame seeds

[ ] 1/2 tsp white pepper

[ ] 1/4 tsp dried chili flakes

[ ] 1/4 tsp msg

[ ] cornstarch slurry of 2 tsps cornstarch and 1/4 cup

Cooking Instructions

1. Add your ginger, scallions and garlic to a food processor and blend until fine.

2. Add it to a bag along with your brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, white pepper, chili flakes, msg, sesame seeds, Chinese wine and toasted sesame oil.

3. Shake the bag well making sure it’s mixed together well.

4. Dice the chicken and add it in. Let it marinate about 20-30 minutes.

5. During that time prepare your onion, carrot and broccoli. Make sure to wash it well first and then slice it as directed in the ingredients list.

6. Once ready and prepared add just a tiny bit of cooking oil to a hot skillet, add in your chicken and the marinade.

7. Cook until Chicken is cooked through, about 5-10 minutes or less.

8. Once done add in the vegetables and cook until desired tenderness has been reached.

9. Once done add in the cornstarch slurry, turn the heat down to low and stir until thickened.

10. Once done enjoy with some fresh cucumber and white fluffy rice. Garnish with more sesame seeds and the green part of the scallions sliced. Serve and enjoy!
