Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup drained capers

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine

Instructions:

1. Season the Chicken: Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge the chicken in flour and shake off excess.

2. Cook the Chicken: In a large pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until browned, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. Create the Sauce: In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the wine, lemon juice, and capers. Bring to a boil.

4. Simmer: Add back the chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes in the sauce.

5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with parsley. Serve hot.

Notes:

• You can use chicken thighs for a richer flavor.

• Adjust lemon juice to taste if you prefer a milder lemon flavor.

• Feel free to add more capers if you love their unique taste.
